  • No! You will have full access to professionally edited, high-resolution images.

  • Yes! You will receive 100% of your photos in color, with 20% ALSO edited in black and white.

  • A second shooter is a second photographer who can capture another perspective of your wedding day! I suggest couples hire them when their wedding guest attendance exceeds 300 people, or if they need photos of events happening at the same time. I will find and hire them for you. They are usually paid between $50-$75 per hour. I will edit their images so your gallery is seamless. I include a fee of $50 for each hour you hire a second shooter to cover communication with them and the extra download/editing time required by me.

  • I shoot with a Nikon D850 camera body, usually with either a 50mm or 70-200mm lens. This allows me to capture everything from group photos to details on the altar!

I also carry backup equipment, just in case!

  • In the very (very) (very, very) rare chance that I will not be able to shoot your wedding, here’s what would happen…

I would attempt to find a suitable replacement for you that matched my style and service fee.

If you accept this replacement, I would offer a full refund, and your payment would be transferred to the new photographer.

If you want to feel more secure, I suggest investing in wedding insurance or hiring a photographer from a multi-photographer studio!

  • Short answer: Yes!

Long answer: If there are a few shots you’re excited about getting, I would love to capture them for you! We will have a long conversation about a month before your wedding to discuss your specific vision.

If you have a long list of specific shots, it may be tricky to capture them while being open to spontaneous, candid moments. Try to keep a good balance between posed and candid shots!

Family photos are a different story! I accept up to 10 groupings of family members after your ceremony. You will receive a questionnaire for the names in each grouping so I can call them out on the day!

  • If you already had your engagement photos done you have a few options! We can add an extra hour of shooting to your wedding day… do bridal photos in a beautiful Colorado… or subtract $200 from your wedding fee.

  • I love it when I can take engagement photos for my couples for several reasons…

Firstly, being in front of the camera for a real photoshoot can be awkward! I will be there with you every step of the way (cheering you on, giving you fun prompts, and catching candids), but it’s a good idea to get a feel for it before the big day.

Secondly, you’ll have photos for wedding details, save the dates, and engagement announcements on social media!

Lastly, engagement photos are a great way for you and your partner to show your style casually. Your wedding photos will be fun and candid, butttt pretty fancy. During the engagement shoot, you have the option to wear two outfits. I suggest choosing one outfit that shows off your personality!

  • Have you ever been surprised and confused by the high cost of hiring a photographer? I totally understand! It is a significant investment.

But many people might not realize that photographers put in a lot of work, time, and money behind the scenes. When you hire a photographer, you're not just paying for the time they spend actively taking photos. You're also covering expenses like equipment updates, researching and scouting venues, photo backup software, editing software subscriptions, making phone calls and sending emails to plan your perfect day, and of course, the time-consuming editing process.

During editing, photographers sift through a large number of images from your session (typically around 2,000-3,000 for a wedding) and carefully select the best ones, usually narrowing it down to about 750. Then they go through the images, cropping, duplicating, and editing them to match their unique style. I usually spend 10+ hours editing a wedding gallery!

So, next time you consider hiring a photographer, keep in mind that their pricing reflects not just the time spent capturing your special moments but also the dedication and effort they put into creating the perfect final result.
